They say the heat is going to break a little tonight. Right now, it’s just hot.
Long Beach was still, hazy, and — well — hot. A little breeze teased my hair as I sat there, but it wasn’t something I could call cool. I’ve spent most of my day off indoors, where I can be cool, and where I can knit on that Baktus while sipping some icy limeade and tea. Honestly, it’s the only thing to do!

I am so happy you're posting!! So hot here today I had no choice but to stay in and pack. I am making headway, still have a ways to go! The breeze is just mean today, as if it's saying, "I'm just here to make you hotter!"
